Last Weekend

Knowing is not enough; we must apply.Willing is not enough; we must do.Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
We are still masters of our fate.We are still captains of our souls.Winston Churchill

My head definitely feels a lot different.
Turn my head from side to side and there is less hair getting in my way.
Wake up in the morning with less hair covering my eyes.
Wash my hair faster.
Comb my hair and wonder where the length went to.
Less tangles.
Hair fall is not as pronounced.
Can’t tie up my hair in certain styles (for now) e.g. French braid.
Yeap, one hair cut changes a lot of things.
Heh~

Went to WWS, two hours after the hair cut to get some administration done.
Rushed home to help buy dinner for the family before heading out for my own dinner with Parveen.
Took her to White Tangerine to eat. :)
Between the two of us, we polished off Steak, Spaghetti, Spicy Chicken and Vanilla Classic.
Food was good, as usual. ;D
Took a walk around Heartland Mall, just as it was closing. Walked around the area before settling at MacD to chitchat.
Conversation ranged from Bus Numbers to methods of revenge against Stop Signs to the appropriateness of certain songs for ring tones.
Heehee…

Parveen – You Punk~
Your kids sure are interesting, maybe some day I might get to meet them.
We’ll do another weekday night some time soon ok?
Hopefully I will get to see you on Sunday.
:)

My last weekend of ‘freedom’ before I start my other job.
I’ll be part time here and part time there.
Part time + Part time = Full time? Or 2 Part time?
That’s something for you to ponder over when you have nothing to do.
LoL~

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Opera performance anyone?

He who hesitates is lost.Proverb
Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.Confucius
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.Albert Einstein

-puts on opera costume-
-walks up to the microphone-
-gets all melodrama-
My hair is gone…
My hair is GONE~~~~~
-multicolored leaves fall all around till the ground is covered-
MY HAIR IS GONE~~~~~~~~!!!!
-wails-

Okay, okay… it ain’t that bad.
They hairdresser cut off about half of my hair.
Considering that I have not put a scissors to my hair in a year, and he said that there was about 6 months worth of hair on the floor after the cutting/chopping off session, I think my mathematics is about right.
Can’t use quite a few of my assorted hair clips/bands/ribbons/stuff any more, not enough hair to keep them in place. Then again, most hair accessories are supposed to get your hair in place and not be kept in place by the hair right?
-ponders-
Oppz…

The decision to have my hair cut was rather last minute.
Even though I have been thinking about it for a long time.
-ponders-
I think I have been rolling the idea around in my head every since I felt that my hair was dropping off way too much… which is about 3 months back?
Haix… but the sentimental part of me really se bu di to cut off my hair… xin xin ku ku let my hair grow for so long… den go and cut… bleah~
I will just have to wait a long time before I can use them hair clips again.
Never had my hair straightened before. (The mountain tortoise strikes!)
My head does feel a lot lighter though, and for that matter - so does my wallet. -.-lll

Sleep last night was good.
Estimate: around ten hours of undisturbed sleep.
Blessings from above.
Rain makes me happy.
The weather today is perfect for sleeping/chilling/lazing around/slacking.
-does a rain dance-
More rain please? :D

Shall pause here and return with another entry at an unspecified time.

Cheers Everyone!

One of those days

Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.William B. Sprague
Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome.Samuel Johnson
Fortune favors the brave.Publius Terence

Sometimes you have good days, then there are the very good days, which zoom by, and then there are days which are so lousy/bad/sucky/fished-up/messed up/yucky/horrible, they balance up all the good days that came before that.
Today was one of those days.
Yeap… one of em’ days… *bleeh*

Tuesday’s cell group got cancelled due to a seminar in the church.
My brother’s family came over for dinner. Meaning I had the joy of carrying my nephew around the house. :)
His laughter is heavenly and his smile makes me go all warm and fuzzy inside.

Wednesday morning, had breakfast with Marilyn.
MacD… fish fish…
Ended up being late to HQ x.xlll … but we managed to get the boats all out onto the water in time for the activities to start.
We were ‘Safety’ for NTU’s Sports Camp Day 3.
I seriously cannot believe that their camp is 7 days long. And they are still at camp whilst I am typing this… they started camp on Monday and will be breaking camp on Sunday. Sleeping at 2am and waking up blardy early every morning… its like they are being trained to get into the flow of mugging for the exams… golly~
Made some new acquaintances and saw a few familiar faces while we were on duty. Very interesting conversations were to be had on that day. Ranging from studies to the buying/selling of cars.
After getting the boats onto shore and cleaning up.
We packed up in a hurry and Bernatt gave us an ice cream treat before we headed our separate ways.
The sun had already set and I was rather zombified by the time I got home for dinner… no surprise that I was forbidden from leaving the house again.
For where? (you might ask)
It was a Wednesday – you can try doing the math. :p

Now I am wondering why it took me so long to get seasick… I was bobbing up and down in front of my computer screen when I got home. -.-lll
Sleep that night was good though~

Today’s weather was good.
Perfect for sleeping.
So happens my body decided to rage mutiny against me.

Had lunch with JY and Adelyn at Kovan.
Sorry I wasn’t much of company guys~
Too much in pain to be zoned in.
We’ll do another meal before school starts for you ok JY?

Went down, in the rain, to WWS.
School program.
Last minute Schedule confirmations.
My bad housekeeping.
-hits head against wall-
Too blur or lazy for my own good.
-hits head harder against the wall-
Then, my dinner plans went out the window.
Oh well~
When it rains, it pours.
-continues hitting head against the wall-
Need to wake up and get my head on straight.
-puts more effort into hitting head against the wall-

Did I leave a dent?

As I mentioned earlier, the not so nice make the great more realistic, but one ‘off’ day does not a bad week make, and there are still things to look forward to for the rest of the week… besides, Wednesday was the highlight so far!
I had so much fun and rain~
Hehe~
Laughter truly is the best medication for anything :D

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts.
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen.

Onward ho!

ARK

One way to get the most out of life isto look upon it as an adventure.William Feather
As I grow to understand life less and less,I learn to love it more and more.Jules Renard
The imagination exercises a powerful influence over every act of sense, thought, reason -- over every idea.Latin Proverb

I’m back!
Wow… for the first time in ages, I am writing another entry within such a small time frame… yes, I am shocked too… my hair is standing (could be because of static)
Oppz…

I realized on Sunday that Shoon and I set some personal record.
We attended two general meetings in one day.
Haha… but the first one was shorter than the second.
The irony of it all is that the two places in reality are actually just a few meters away from each other in terms of building location. But the meetings were held in two very different areas.
One in a cineplex and the other in the national training centre.
Go figure~
Thank God the heavy rain was kept away until night time though… heh

Went to the market with TKM and YKM this morning to do the grocery shopping.
I have officially gone a bit off my rocket with it comes to the topic of corn.
Yes, that innocent plant.
I have taken a very huge liking to eating it steamed.
Maybe it’s just a phase.
Hmmm…

I watch Inside the Actors’ studio pretty often.
Love the series, and the ten questions by Bernard Pivot that host James Lipton asks every guest:
What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What turns you on [creatively, spiritually or emotionally]?
What turns you off?
What sound or noise do you love?
What sound or noise do you hate?
What is your favorite curse word?
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
What profession would you not like to do?
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

You try answering the questions yourself.
Reveals a lot about a person within those few lines. :)
And the thing about it is that answering the questions at different times in your life shows how much you have changed and how others helped you in that process.

Surfing randomly through Wikipedia, I chanced upon the sequel to Bruce Almighty – Evan Almighty.
The story’s about the ark and A.R.K.
It was released in June this year, but I guess we’ll have to wait a while before it reaches the fair shores of Singapore.
If I have the time, maybe I’ll go watch it… have to remember to bring an umbrella along for the ride~

Nice day ahead… my darling nephew’s coming over tonight for dinner!
-does the jog of joy-

The rest of the day and week awaits~

Potter, plotter, blotter, putter

There are no classes in life for beginners: right away you are always asked to deal with what is most difficult.Rainer Maria Rilke
To live is like to love--all reason is against it, and all healthy instinct for it.Samuel Butler
Life is a pure flame, and we live by an invisible sun within us.Sir Thomas Brown

Saturday’s rest did a lot of good for my mind and me.
Though I doubt that having nightmares counts as being good for sleeping right?
No idea in hack why I have such weird dreams, but I am glad for a bad memory. Erases all the frightening images before I realize it no?

It rained on Sunday morning.
The most wonderful environment to sleep in, but the sad thing was that my alarm clock went off. Almost fell asleep in the bus on the way to church. But service was good, I learnt some new stuff. Have to start planning for my teaching for August. Oppz…

Rushed off to Plaza Singapura to meet Shoon.
Caught Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
It was not bad. Considering that I have not watched the last two movies… but it had rather good special effects and makes me want to have a wand of my own. Then again, the movie did remind me of other movies at some point or other. Them movies would be: Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings. Those are the famous ones anyway… like paying homage no?
He who must not be named looks more like a leech or albino with no nose… hmmm…
I must confess that knowing how the last books ends kinda allows me some peace of mind as to why the characters act as they did. Poor Snape. He’s a really sad fella when you know his story.
Luna Lovegood is cute. I like her hair! And her optimism in various events… Ginny is just plain cool with her spells… hehehe~

Thank you to Parveen for inviting me to attend the BGM.
All the way till we’re 35 right?
Haha…

Ben and Jerry’s for us after the movie.

Coupled with some phone calls that almost killed off the evening.
But thankfully, they did not.

Went down to NTC for the STF AGM.
Someone owes me a favor now.
-evil laughter-

AGM was… different this time round.
My face was red quite a bit.
Talked to some of the seniors before heading home with Shoon.
Must there is to be done.
Happy headache anyone?

Now. To head off for my Monday.
The school program got cancelled by the school this morning, so I ended up going to the market with TKM.
Carrying groceries and heading for home. Beef noodles… *yum-yum*
Now I am wondering if I can make SIM training in time, and there’s work to be done in the office… oh the choices to be made in the time frames given to me. Oh woe is me… hahahaha~

Ok, now, to really head off for my day.
Cheerios~

US Navy. Singapore Navy.

Life's a voyage that's homeward bound.Herman Melville
The whole of life is but a moment of time. It is our duty, therefore to use it, not to misuse it.Plutarch
The boundaries which divide life from deathare at best shadowy and vague.Who shall say where one ends, and the other begins?Edgar Alan Poe

One week after my trip to the zoo, more things have gone on… *duh*
Tired? – yes.
Resting? – have to.

Summary:
Dinner at the Terror Club
Visiting my nephew ^_^
School programs
Watermark award ceremony
CIP with US and Singapore Navy
Shimin’s (belated) Birthday dinner
Interview and relief

My Ian is a real auntie killer.
Love his smile.
Love his laugh.

The watermark award ceremony was held at the floating platform at the marina.
The very same place where they are going to have the National Day parade.
I must say that it is a real honor to be among the first to be allowed onto the platform. Not very often do you get the chance to be on that restricted site with good weather and a beautiful scenery.
In fact, we were among the first to experience the place in all its glory, without the crowds to hamper our views or distract us with extra sounds effects.
I do look forward to seeing the NDP, but it will be from the comfort of my home this time. I have volunteered myself for duty on both the preview and actual days, depending on which day I am roosted on; I will get to see fireworks LIVE!
Nothing beats seeing em’ live aye?
-does the hanabi jig-

The US Navy came down to WWS to do their community involvement program with us. Some guys from the Singapore Navy also came along.
38 US Navy + 10 Singapore Navy.
We were given various sectors to get work done – that being removing certain objects and clearing as much debris as possible from the shore.
Serene and I were put in charge of the crew from Harpers Ferry.
Went to the wakeboarding side, tried to dig up the poles but broke the shovels in the process of digging. The muscled people managed to get one of the poles up, so that in itself was a very big thing for us already.
Some of the guys were humming carol of bells at one point, or rather the beginning of the day.
Question: Is that not a Christmas tune?
No complaints from me regarding that… its one of my favorite Dec tunes :)
Spent the rest of the time picking up litter, cracking jokes, playing with crabs (big and small, dead and alive).
One of the guys kinda freaked out when a baby crab got under his shirt. For his sake, I am glad their photographer did not get a shot of him doing that ‘dance’.
Due to certain orders they were given, and the uniform they were wearing that day, they could only go into the water up to their ankles. -.-lll
That left me in the water, fishing up the plastic bags and other items for them to put into their trash bags.
I was up to my calves in mud at one point, trying to get to various objects that were stuck in the mud. I’ll have to get myself into the mud again one day to retrieve that elusive rattan box in the future. *bleeh*
The objects I pulled from the water ranged from small (straws) to big (huge plastic bags/ plastic sheets/ huge containers filled with mud and sediments). Some were so huge, the Navy fellas thought I had pulled out dead bodies.
-hysterical laughter-
Muddy, sweaty, hot and tired.
It is a somewhat depressing yet hopeful experience.
Depressing - it is impossible for me to comb the body of water and get rid of all the trash.
Hopeful – I got rid of that trash, and those pieces will not harm the environment any more. I am doing my bid for society no?
At the end of the day, there were some laughs to be had and nice photos to be taken.
The guys on other sectors hauled up chairs and other metal items from the breakwater. Other areas brought back parts of docks, i.e. huge wooden planks.
I believe it was a good chance for the Singapore fellas to work hand in hand with the US dudes.
In house jokes:
Pansy?
Where’s the food?
Eels vs Crabs vs Snakes
Japanese language anyone?

The half wasted me managed to haul my bum home after lunch with Uncle Joe.
Knocked flat out before the alarm went off for me to leave the house to go and meet Diana, Yang Mui and Shi Min for dinner at Central.
Manhattan Fish market!
Shiok food… but I think I am allergic to some kind of seafood… my nose was itchy again… Hmmm…
We gave Shi Min a belated birthday dinner as well as went walking around the maze that is the shopping complex. Diana’s got a new hairclip!
Seeing that there were no suitable places for deserts, we walked to Chinatown point instead. We ended up having ice cream and drinks at MacDonald’s after I banged my head against a glass panel outside Swenson’s. If anyone sees an article in STOMP about a person creating a din there, I think it would be safe to say that the person was me. Hearing about the reactions of the patrons from Diana and Yang Mui really sent me into fits of laughter. But only after my tears stopped flowing… it was a rather hard bang know?
We laughed, contemplated and discussed facial cream, among other things, before heading home on the NEL.
Now I await our next outing… hmmm… when will that be?
-rabbit emicon for dance plays in the background-

Good thing I don’t have anything on for today… if not I would be falling asleep all over the place. Oppz.
Sleep is good~

WELCOME BACK MARILYN~!!!
Glad you had a good time...
Sure got more pictures than those you put on your site right?
Must show show~ :D

Ying Ying Zhou,
next Sunday how?

Before I take sign off, here’s a line from Mr. P Chan:
“Navy boys are good, but only when they are in Singapore.”
Comments anyone?

White tigers, elephants and lions... polar bears too!

The best way out is always through.Robert Frost

Update on my health:
Coughing has decreased, but red eye remains.
Yuck but better than before… the internal vortex is my enemy.

Thursday’s school program was followed by dinner with Marilyn.
Yes, another meal-ing time!
She introduced me to a Japanese place at Bugis Junction.
Good gwad… the food was shiok… the prices hair raising and our ability to spend money fascinating!
The sake was also good~
Heheh… can I say that I conquered sake?
Hmmm… maybe not… I think I took sips…
Keyword: think.

Friday!
I went to the ZOO!!!!
With J Kor in the morning.
Met up with him at AMK hub and took the bus to the Singapore Zoological Gardens.
It’s a lot smaller than I remember it.
Then again, as Yang Mui and J Kor put, “we were a lot smaller back then”.
Yes, agreed.
Saw the tigers, lions, polar bears, monkeys; seals, birds, butterflies and what have you at the zoo.
Many changes I have noticed. There is a more organic feel to the zoo now compared to last time when I was in school uniform running all over the kids’ world with my classmates.
Plenty of lower primary and kindergarten children were there for their learning sessions as well. All the different colors of uniforms and children going two-by-two behind their teachers. Rather adorable. Right until they start shouting. X.xlll
Sadly, due to all the changes, renovations and what not, we did not get to see a lot of the animals coz they were relocated for the span of the upgrading process.

The shows are also interesting, especially the ‘kissing session’! :D
Did I take pictures?
Yeap! I sure did. But not as many as I though I would though, I was very selective with the snaps I let my finger run with. Good thing is that most of the pictures are really nice~
J Kor! Remember to get them from me ya?

The weather was perfect for all that walking and sight seeing, though I think we could have done with less humidity. Then again, it’s a lot better than having rain aye?
We took shelter in the air-con huts a lot. Especially when we went round in circles trying to get to certain areas for the feeding times and to watch the animal shows.

While planning the trip, I scanned through the job opportunities at the zoo. Not bad considering how much they are asking for in the job scope. How much they pay is another thing entirely.
-hysterical laughter-

My favorite animals:
Elephants
White Tigers
Mere cats
Seals

Wonderful photo opportunities!
-does the dance of photography-
LOL~

Wanted to have dinner at AMK hub, but we ended up making our way to White Tangerine for food. Heheh… ordered quite a bit. Very satisfying meal.
Had a great with my J Kor~
Thanks J Kor~!

Next trip:
Night Safari (?)
[have to wait a long time before I go… got a giant hole in my pocket at the moment… it has to be nursed back to health @.@]

So that’s all from me for now… coz I need to go and have my lunch~

Laterz!

I've said

Life is like a library owned by the author. In it are a few books which he wrote himself, but most of them were written for him.Harry Emerson Fosdick
We make our fortunes, and we call them fate.Earl of Beaconsfield
The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live.Elbert Hubbard

One week on and I am still sick.
I’ve said it before. I shall say it again.
I am sick of being sick!!!!
Coughing until my insides hurt.
Coughing until I am on the verge of throwing up.
Coughing until I cannot sleep.
*bleah!*
Then now kanna red eye!
WTH~!

Been running around like a headless chicken again.
All the events, around the island.
Interesting activities and learning sessions.
Meeting up with members and information overloads.
Summary:
Desmond and Fanny’s wedding
School programs
Exhibitions
Coughing
Meal-ing with Marilyn
Hung out with Yueling
Transformers!!!

Today shall be spent resting, admin-ing, blogging, email-ing, sleeping, reading… that’s the life~

Reining the child in me… tough job… end up with more stress… but had to be done sometime right?
Better now than next time… for next time might be not the right time in the sadness of being the ‘too late’ time…
Need to be more alert…
-bangs head against wall-

Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!

I’ve said it before and I shall say it again:
Transformers is a shiok show!
(or rather… a few more times…)
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!
Transformers is a shiok show!

-does the dance of Transformers is a shiok show!-

The storyline’s pretty straightforward.
Actors get their role. Action is great – and the Transformers steal the show!
I tip my hat off to the special effects and designers… they made the action and machines so real that I almost forgot that I was watching a show…
To be drawn into the show and forget that it’s totally not possible in reality. That’s what I look for when I watch a movie. Escapism? Probably… but isn’t that what movies are about?
At least the fun ones anyway~
Sometimes, movies are used to air political views, or get people to be more aware of certain situations.
This movie could be said to be:
A huge commercial for GMC.
A plug for the director and producers’ previous movies.
-laughs out loud-

Will there be a part two?
Confirm sure have!
I am counting on it… hahaha… I want to see how long Optimus Prime is going to hang around. Maybe they will allow him to be kept alive till he evolves into Optimus Primal… hmmm…
Will the Decepticons ever triumph?
-hears Shoon cheering in the background-

Would I watch it again?
In a heartbeat~
Would I buy the DVD?
YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! … and again I say – YEAH!
Shoon! We watch it again ok? Then we can dissect the movie and really decide who won at the end of the show…
-evil laugher ensues-

Yingy’s got a new blog… ok not that new… at least a month old… and she’s only posted 2 entries…
WOMAN!
Give me more material to read!
Hahaha…

Yangmui~
How’s your back?
ECR woes… gwad… xiang dang nian … t’was a bitter-sweet relationship I had with the system… jiayou woman!
I’m looking forward to having Sakae sushi with you and Diana at the airport next year!

Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think.La Bruyere

Someone please stop this coughing of mine.
I’ve been coughing non-stop since Monday lor.
Cough until choke then kanna headache somemore… argh~
Do I really have to go back to the doctor?
Or maybe I should just refrain from talking for a few days… doubt that would be possible with all the events lined up though…
-tried to laugh-
-coughs instead-

Was supposed to go swimming with Joyce and Yingz today. But both Joyce and I are not in the ‘mood’ to get wet, so bor bian have to postpone the water activity. Shall be resting at home today. Unless I really cannot take it den I will go to the doctor (again), and then go to the hospital to visit Ah boy and then run to Kovan for training.
All this is dependent on how my health holds up before 1pm.
Hehiha~
-coughs-

My schedule is packed to the brim with events, school programs and trying to meet up with friends before their holidays come to an end/ start work/ disappear one me.
No one is allowed to say that I am not trying my best. :p

Yesterday was spent at the IRAS booth and WWS compound for the school program. First time that that particular school came down for the session. The kids were… well… kids…
[I shall pause here to drink water and ponder over yesterday’s session.]

-drinks water-
-ponders-
-drinks more water-
-ponders-
-chokes-
-splutters-
-coughs-
-coughs a lot-
-ponders a bit more-
-sips water-

I have come to the conclusion that the children were above the average of what I have seen in the usual school program. ;p

Still high over my weekend… hehehe…

Chicogo – Will you still love me

Take me as I am

Put your hand in mine now and forever

Darling here I stand, stand before you now

Deep inside I always knewIt was you, you and me

Two hearts drawn together bound by destiny

It was you and you for me

Every road leads to your door

Every step I take forever more

Chorus:

Just say youll love me for the rest of your life

I gotta lot of love and I dont want to let go

Will you still love me for the rest of my life?

cause I cant go on

No, I cant go onI cant go on

If Im on my own

Take me as I am

Put your heart in mine, stay with me forevercause

I am just a man who never understood

I never had a thing to prove

Till there was you

You and me

Then it all came clear so suddenly

How close to you that I wanna be

Chorus

Bridge:

Do you believe a love could run so stong?

Do you believe a love could pass you by?

There was no special one for me

I was the lovely one, you see

But then my heart lost all control

Now youre all that I know

Chorus

I heard the song on the radio a week ago.
Can’t seem to get it out of my head.
I even used the lyrics for my MSN nick… haha… go figure~

Ms Yingster,
Yes… your photo taking skills are unrivaled.
Now you can take my place as photographer for events.
-psychotic laughter-
-coughs-
-coughs and laughs at the same time-

Time to get to either my bed or duties… responsible slacker in full force!

Unrest of spirit is a mark of life; one problem after another presents itself and in the solving of them we can find our greatest pleasure.Kal Menninger
Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience treacherous, judgment difficult.Hypocrites
The weekend was good to me.
-does the dance of joy-

Friday night was spent with Diana.
Food at Swenson’s… not so long ago, I ate there with Pirates of a specific region.
Chowed down on smoked salmon. Diana had the crayfish. Almost downed some ice cream.
Walked round and round Compasspoint.
Me thinks I am starting to get sick of the library there. Have to make a trip to the national library to get my ‘fix’.
Anyone wanna go with me?
Been ages since I last stepped into the air-conditioning there.
Hahaha~
Happy Birthday present for Wosy... heeheee... she and her midnight shopping...

Saturday morning, corporate event at WWS.
Cycle here. Cycle there.
End up had to cut the journey short coz of time constraint.
We got down to making the mosquito traps. I do wonder how many we will catch. Annie kept insisting that the place has no mosquitoes, but XJ and I always get bitten… so that’s another item up for debate…
Have to wait 2 weeks before we change the solution in the bottles. See if I can remember to update on how many we sent to heaven.
Blasted insects, poor Noh is down with dengue fever. Poorthing~

Got home WWS and got ready for the evening date with Joyce and Yingz.
We went to Grapevine.
Our maiden visit to that venue.
The food is good. Beef, beef and more beef!
Haha.. the Ox tail stew was good enough for me to want to get TKM and YKM to go with me the next time I visit that place.
Yingz and Wosy had the steak… so blardy bloody… but shiok~
*slurp!*
After all that eating, we made our way to Serangoon Central to eat bean curd.
Not just any kind of bean curd… it had Ah bo leng inside!
*slurp-slurp!*
Peanuts galore!
Sadly… it restarted the coughing fits… but who cares!
Walked until got blisters… but who cares!
The evening was major fine~
The company was evening finer~
Can’t wait to see my two women again!
-does the dance of joy-

Went home and pulled out my eyeballs for the second time.
Believe it or not, I usually wear my contacts once a day. As in once I put them on, I don’t usually take them off until the end of the day, or the event I am attending.
This time, I a bit more adventurous. After WWS, go home, take out and then poke back before going out at night… eyes a tad sore at the end of the day… but who cares!
-psychotic laughter-

Sunday morning wake up… eyes refuse to open… but who cares!
It’s Sunday!
Time to praise and worship the Lord!
-does the dance of jubilation-
Led the children in praise and worship. Communion Sunday~
Stayed behind for second service. Kanna go for meeting. Then during the meeting… found out that I have been drafted into the Church camp for P3 to P5s.
In charge of FOOD!
-hysterical maddening laughter-

Went home afterward.
Made sure things were in order before heading out again.

Met up with Shoon at Cityhall.
Walked through HMC and picked me up a Narnia DVD… now I can get rid of my vcd copy… provided my dvd can be played on the dvd player =.=lll (still have yet to test the discs.. oppz)
We conquered the Ichiban outlet at the Esplanade.
They have cushions!
They’ve got new items on the menu!
They’ve got the atmosphere to be like Japan in winter… brrrr to the air-conditioning temperature!
Tea - a welcome warmth under the air-con ducts.
The waitresses were friendly but very busy… we almost had to do our ‘kallang-wave’ to get their attention.
Food was lovely, coz this time; they had all the items we were aiming at!
Wakakaka~
Beef, pork and plenty of fish… we even had the chance to try their desert this time round. ;)
Sadly, the GST increase was a pain on our wallets… yuck… but who cares!
The food was good… company made it better! :D

We took a walk to digest the food and look at the changes along the riverfront… made it just in time right after photo taking for the start of the program.
Jump, JUmp, JUMp, JUMP!!!!
The show was a barrel of laughs!
Broad swords
Special spectacles (or split personality?)
Ribbon in her hair
The dreaded ‘pok’ sound of a fan hitting someone’s head
‘Singapore Master’
Drunken fist cum Merlion
Running up walls
Tearing of shirts
Glow in the dark red sticks
Electric shocks coupled with jumping ropes
Walking stick power
“Yuuuuu rrrrr sooo beeuutiifullll…”
Splits
‘Peace’ signs galore
Wedding thrown in
And… so much, much more~

Can tell the audience had a good time as well, coz we were all clapping like crazy at the end of the show. The crowd was also very responsive to the antics of the actors on stage. The stunts and jags… drew many a gasp and ‘awww’…
Can tell that they put in a lot of effort in their training for this kind of performance.
Just look at the bods of the actors and you know le…
*migumi laughter*
I’m going to have a lot of nice images in my head for a while… heehee… more good spirits no?
Makes me wanna train harder as well… hahaha… very good outcomes ya?
Heeheehaha~
Ran into quite a few STF people while I was there… hehe… should have seen it coming ya?
*Hoooooot!!*

Would I watch it again?
Oh yeah~
OH YEAH~!!!!

If I go a bit nuttier, I might go to London to catch the Broadway production!
Or, I can wait till they come back again… hehe…
Is that our Korean Demo for 2007?
Not sure xia~
-evil laughter-
